About The Flower Project
The Flower Project cycle delivers flowers and plants in Cambridge, UK. We offer a next day delivery service to CB1, CB2, CB3, CB4, CB5, Impington, Histon and Milton.
We use completely biodegradable or recyclable packaging. All of our bouquets have an eco-wrap solution to help keep the flowers hydrated and fresh while in transit.
Where we source our flowers and supplies if really important to us. We try to work with other local businesses and farmers where possible. From sourcing British flowers from local farmers to buying marketing materials. We will always try to find a local company first.
Clare Cook - Florist and Owner
I am originally from Herefordshire and moved to Cambridge six years ago. For many years I was unsure exactly what I wanted to do career wise. When I moved to Cambridge my love for cycling really came into its own, always opting to cycle to get anywhere rather than take any other transport.
My love for flowers and plants came a little later. In 2018 I got married and I opted to do my own wedding flowers. I never really thought about being a Florist before but I knew that I wanted to know more about flowers, and my curiosity grew. I studied an NVQ in Floristry and qualified in May 2019, but you never stop learning and I love learning new styles and techniques.
I decided to set up The Flower Project because I saw a gap in the market in Cambridge and I wanted to set up a business that was environmentally conscious and sell British grown flowers as much as possible. I wanted to create a business that has a low impact on the environment and constantly strive to do better.
